Located in a hidden spot along Priestgate in the city centre and down a small cut, you’ll find 1498 The Spice Affair.
A very passionate owner and chef, Lloyd really cares about food and its impact on his customers. Giving you a completely flexible menu of dishes from Goa, India, Portugal it’s tantalising for the taste buds. You’ll find a host of ingredients on his menu that you probably wont’ find anywhere else in the city – wild hare, octopus, crab, etc. It’s definitely an adventure when you come to eat here.
He even offers up the traditional ‘English’ expected dishes like Korma, Tikka Masala to keep everyone happy.
