Front cover 2022 calendar

On 27th August 2021 we began our #2022CalendarCompetition…

Last year 2020 saw the arrival of the We Love Peterborough Calendar with photographs taken by us around the city. THIS YEAR 2021 we wanted to see yours…. You were all involved, the people who live in the area. It was a chance to show us your best shots.

There was a maximum of 3 entries per person and the amount we received of different places was wonderful. Plenty were received of Ferry Meadows, a firm favourite with everyone, Thorpe Meadows a close second place – we obviously like being near water, Central park with plenty of trees and flowers to choose from, some of our magnificent buildings like the Cathedral, the Guild Hall, St John’s church, the precincts in the Cathedral grounds, Nene Valley Railway, landscapes in Hampton, along North Bank, Yaxley, Werrington, down by the Embankment was a firm favourite with our lovely swans and many more.

We had a hard job deciding which were the best but finally, we came up with the 12 we needed from across the city.

A big thank you to everyone who entered our #2022calendarcompetition. By the end of September, we had our winners….. 🙂
